Frequently Asked Questions: Nutrition Coaching

How much is nutrition coaching?
$300 for 13 weeks of one-on-one Nutrition Coaching.

What is Flexible Dieting?
This is an approach to finding the simplest and most effective diet that allows you to achieve your goals, both physical and performance related, all while eating the foods that you love.  By having a relaxed set of guidelines as opposed to a rigid structure of rules we are able to minimize frustrations and maximize your results.

Why do I have to send photos?
We require you to send photos weekly to monitor progress as well as hold you accountable to yourself. We do not share these photos without your written permission; they are strictly to track your progress and to hold you accountable.

Will I need to purchase anything extra?
No. But we want to be set up for success and we highly encourage purchasing a small food scale and/or measuring cups to help ensure accuracy with your meals. Because you will be taking measurements on yourself, a soft tape measure will also be handy.

Do I have to measure my food?
Yes. Honestly it is the smartest method to ensure accuracy and consistency when starting out. We are here to help and for us to be effective at what we do the more data we can have the better. We can’t fix something if we don’t know what’s wrong with it.

Do you plan my meals for me?
Not specifically. As your nutrition coach we will offer suggestions on how to eat and teach you how to make healthy eating choices. This gives you more freedom and flexibility than a prescribed meal plan.

How will I know what to eat?
We provide a list of suggested foods and with your weekly macros you’ll know the amounts to eat at each meal/snack.

How do I communicate with my coach?
You will check in weekly with your nutrition coach over email. However, should you have an additional question or concern throughout the week, you can reach out to your coach.

Do you offer refunds?
No. There are no refunds/transfers of service on nutrition programs sent. No exceptions. Consequently we do charge a $50 cancellation fee on any order refunded before the nutrition program is sent.

Does the Nutrition Coaching include a workout plan as well?
No. But we do offer Custom Programming that is a great adjunct to really prevent your progress.

What if I filled out the form and didn’t get an email?
If you haven’t heard from us in 24 hours please check your Spam, Promotions and/or Updates folders. Sometimes our emails are sent there by accident. Finally, if all else fails just send us an email at gpshumanperformance@gmail.com

Do I need to consult my doctor before I start?
Nutrition coaching plans are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any health problem – nor is it intended to replace the advice of a physician or registered dietitian. Always consult your physician or qualified health professional on any matters regarding your health. It is strongly recommend that the reader consult a physician before engaging in any of the nutrition practices suggested within the program.

What our past members are saying...

"I’ve been a member at this gym since the beginning and I honestly have to say that the one thing that keeps me coming back is the excellent coaching that is provided. Geoff and Lisa are very helpful in observing and coaching you through your lifts to make sure your form is on point and you don’t get injured. Another great thing I love about this gym is the great friendships I’ve made. Everyone is super friendly and very welcoming to new comers. Best gym in the Fort Bragg area for sure!" - Andrew
